I am a native of Northeast Tennessee and I have enjoyed raising a family in the area. I believe technology is a great asset but not a replacement for personal service. I am a local Realtor working in the local market for the past ten years. I appreciate all my former clients and now consider most to be dear friends and valued business associates. I enjoy working with client referral’s and can help you as life brings the many changes to all of us. So whether you’re moving in or moving out I can help. Current member of the Northeast Tennessee Association and National Association of Realtors.
Since 1994 it has been my pleasure to help people achieve “the American Dream”. Buying or selling a home brings both joy and stress and my job is to help you transition through the process. Since beginning work at an early age, I have been working with the public. Meeting new people and becoming friends is the best part!
In today’s changing real estate market, continuing education is a must for professional REALTORS®. Surpassing state requirements for education, I appreciate the knowledge and experience gained through professional affiliations. Networking with other agents across the states allows me to better help you if you are relocating out of this area.
Personally, the greatest part of my life is Mr. Moores, my husband. We married in 1991 and have had the best of times. We love to travel and see different places of this great country. We have driven out West, gone to Alaska and visited many other states. He moved here from Baltimore and we were introduced through a mutual friend. He makes me laugh and is the reason I am in real estate.
How can I even forget that cold winter night of January 2 of 2008, the temperature was around 2F, time was around 11:30 pm and I was putting my luggage inside a rental car. I remember I was freezing, scared, but full of wonder and hope. That was the date my family and I arrived in East TN. Early that day at a temperature of around 80F we were just saying goodbye to my parents, my family, and my friends, I was also saying goodbye to the place that saw me born, grow, become a professional and become a mother for the first time, Puerto Rico. It was at the beginning of December of 2007 that my husband received a job offer to come and work for Eastman Chemical at Kingsport. We took the hard decision of leaving our friends and family behind and came to a new place. Not much time passed when this place began to feel like home. My love for east TN is so much that I don’t see myself living in any other place in the world. I fell in love with the beauty of the mountains, with the wonderful and beautiful people that live here, the culture, and the BBQ. What seemed like a strange place at the beginning turned out to feel just like home.
Having a background in science I never thought I would get into real-estate, but after moving multiple times and cluelessly buying our first house with less than desirable help from the selling agents, I learned the hard way the importance of a good, knowledgeable, and trustworthy person to guide you through the process. I developed a curiosity of how the real estate market worked since I started helping friends and newcomers that were in search of a home. Little did I know that I was discovering a passion for helping families find their dream homes. 2014 was the year that I decided to transform my hobby into my career in Real Estate. Since then I have been able to help dozens of families not only find and buy their dream home but also sell their properties. These families have become more than my clients, they have become my friends. They had found in me a knowledgeable agent that work hard for them with integrity and ethics, also a trustworthy agent that is going to take care of them and is going to protect them during one of the most important decisions of their life.
